I feel like I have A LOT of lost time to make up for on the blog…since I’ve only been blogging for a little over a week and I have so many beautiful portraits I want to share! I’ve known for awhile I needed a better way to share my clients’ portraits. I just wasn’t satisfied with sharing one or two on Facebook and Instagram. So, from now on I’ll be sharing the bigger picture…and more of them! Why not? My clients and I worked hard on these portrait collaborations and they deserve to showcased!
Plus, it’s always great when you can photograph family friends and watch them grow! Baby Maysa has been in front of my camera since she was just 2 days old and her portfolio is still growing!

These portraits of the Downing Family were shot on one of those warms days we have every January. You know days in the middle of winter that make you believe we may have a short winter! Well we know that wasn’t the case BUT we are grateful anytime we have good weather, especially in winter, because it makes the portrait session that much better for my clients and I.
This is probably my favorite image from their session!
And this was the perfect way to end this session...one of my
all time favorite family photos EVER! :)
